Exploration of Photo:
Orange Tree Photoshoot (as taken)
These photos were all taken at the beginning of my interest in photo, when exploration was everything. Here I note what I've learned about photo that applies to this photoshoot.
This first one is better than the following two: in the next two, the lens is partially covered and the exposure is not as balanced. The exposure should be lowered here still, so that the blue sky is visible like in the underexposed photo.
The next set is looking up into the tree, and none of these pull me in by composition, but I do like the lens flare captured from turning towards the sun.
The color balance is off in the first of the last two: the color is cooler in the last photo as seen by the brighter green in the grass, and the orange is less pink.
These were taken in 2015: I was 15 in 2015.
Even 5 years later I'm still sharpening my eye for design and photography. Photos that I'm more proud of have and will be taken.
